At Wanamassa Radio, all playlists are hand selected and human created. We feel algorithms often lack the human touch that makes a great soundtrack.
We are family friendly between 6am and 8pm, meaning that we avoid cursing lyrics until after 8pm, after that though anything goes.
While we play a wide variety of music, we often will play “music blocks” which are usually 30 minute periods of one type of music or a group of songs that have a common theme. We will note these music blocks with a soundbite so you know your listening to one.
Yes, we do take requests. Just click on the Requests tab in the top menu, fill out the form, and we will take care of the rest.
